Brussels Air has introduced a swanky new business class for longer flights. Elite Traveler reports that the new accommodations are designed to replicate the experience of staying in a luxury hotel while traveling from continent to continent.
The flights will feature a stand up bar for business class passengers to drink and mingle, as well as massive improvements for each berth. The seats include more storage than before, pillows, blankets and a much roomier space for passengers to make themselves comfortable.
Michelin starred Belgian chef Thierry Theys designed a four course menu for business class travelers that includes a curated wine pairing with every dish.
JPA Design worked with the airline to create a luxurious ambience, installing domed lights, light wood and rich leather. The experience is limited, as the new elite business class only offers 30 seats per plane, so get in line early.
